TeamSupreme began in 2012 as an experiment between Dane Morris (Great Dane) and Preston Walker (Penthouse Penthouse). They challenged each other to create a 1-minute track using the same sample at the same tempo and complete it in 30 minutes. After mixing the tracks together they decided to invite all of their artist friends to join in. This quickly evolved into Vol. 1 and the concept of the Beat Cypher series was born. 

Not long after, TS formally became a collective consisting of original members, Great Dane, Preston James, King Henry, Mike Parvizi, ELOS, Dot, TK Kayembe, Kloud, Promnite, Djemba Djemba, Mr. Carmack, Two Fresh, AWE, Nalepa, JNTHN STEIN, Kenny Segal, Fuzz and Goodnight Cody. Working together as team they quickly grew from Beat Cyphers to a label. Continuing the growth, TS started throwing their own events, concerts and tours. In 2014 TS opened its monthly Beat Cyphers to the public and till this day allows any aritst to submit their beats.
